Initially attracting little attention, in the centuries that followed they have been censored, rearranged and scrutinised by critics and cryptomaniacs alike. To discuss the reasons why, Ash is joined by a very special guest: Sir Stanley Wells, who has recently published with Paul Edmondson a new edition of the sonnets.
